TycoonIO is not just another game page. It is the business-management surface of the Word Tycoon ecosystem, and the long-term idea is that it becomes the canonical home for empire management without turning into a separate account island.
What TycoonIO is for
The rest of the game network is built around rounds, guesses, streaks, and challenge completions. TycoonIO is where the business layer becomes the main event. It is the place where newspaper, carwash, pizza, stockmogul, gym, cinema, startup, bank, and the rest of the longer-term empire systems can live as their own public-facing product surface.
Why the split matters
TycoonIO only works if it feels like a surface split, not an account split. The user should still feel like they are the same player with the same coins, cosmetics, and identity they had on wordtycoon.live. That is why the auth and session model matters so much here. TycoonIO needs to feel new, but it cannot feel disconnected.
Where it sits architecturally
In the current plan, tycoonio.com is the public home of the business layer, while Word Tycoon remains the central account and library hub behind it. That means TycoonIO is less about becoming a separate product and more about giving one major slice of the ecosystem a cleaner, more focused home. If the transition is handled well, players should read it as expansion. If it is handled badly, it will read as fragmentation.
